Independent Providers

Providers are independent

Every provider in Ujiajiri's private network is an independent business or professional. An introduction does not make the provider an employee, agent or joint-venture partner of Ujiajiri Enterprises Limited. Providers set their own scope and fees, contract with clients directly and remain responsible for their own delivery, support and warranty.

What an introduction is

Ujiajiri proposes one provider for each suitable enquiry, selected using Ujiajiri's stated suitability criteria and the information available at the time. The customer is told who the proposed provider is, and why, before any identifiable information is shared, and may accept, decline or request another provider. Only after the customer's recorded approval does Ujiajiri send the agreed information to the provider.

The contract and payment are direct

The provider scopes, quotes, contracts, invoices, delivers, supports and warrants its own work. The customer pays the provider directly. Ujiajiri is not a party to that contract unless a separate written agreement explicitly says so, does not collect project payments, and does not hold client credentials.

Referral fees

Ujiajiri may receive a referral fee from the proposed provider if the customer contracts and pays for qualifying work, under a separate partner agreement. This possibility is disclosed before the customer approves an introduction. The provider must disclose whether the referral arrangement affects the customer's quoted price. See Commercial Relationships.

No guarantee

Ujiajiri does not guarantee provider availability, suitability, price, delivery or results. An introduction is a proposal based on stated criteria. Customers should perform their own due diligence before contracting.

Complaints and removal

Concerns about a provider introduced through Ujiajiri can be reported through the routes on the Contact page. Complaints are reviewed and escalated to the owner, and Ujiajiri may suspend or remove a provider from the network. Ujiajiri cannot resolve contractual disputes on behalf of an independent provider.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ujiajiri Enterprises Limited is not liable for the acts, omissions, work product or conduct of independent providers. Disputes about a project should be raised with the provider under the contract agreed between customer and provider. This page describes how introductions operate and is not legal advice.
